The Little Stars Charity Shop – Where Every Purchase Gives Back
Tucked into the heart of Shrewsbury is a little shop that makes a big difference. The Little Stars Charity Shop is more than just a place to pick up affordable baby and children’s items – it is a vital part of our mission to support children and families.
Shopping at Little Stars is not only a sustainable way to shop, every purchase helps fund our vital programmes, helping families at the time they need it most.
What we stock:
All of the items in our shop are excess donations, or donations we’re unable to pass on to the families we support through our main charity work. Because of this, our stock is always changing, but you’ll typically find:
- Baby and child clothing and shoes
- Maternity wear and accessories
- School uniform (July and August)
- Seasonal clothing for Halloween and Christmas
- Fancy dress for World Book Day in April
- Toys and books
Availability depends on what’s been donated, so we can’t guarantee specific items or sizes will be in stock at any given time. Pop in and see what’s arrived, or follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates on new donations.
Whilst we rely on donations, our main priority is the families we support through the charity, which is why all donations go to our HQ first, where they’re sorted and quality checked by our team of volunteers. Suitable items are then passed on to the shop.

We’re located on the ground floor of The Darwin Shopping Centre in The Collective.
We are immensely grateful for the support of the Darwin Centre team, whose partnership has made this venture possible. The Little Stars shop stands as a testament to collaboration and is a tremendous asset to the community!

Great store, with a good range of items. Babies grow so fast so from a sustainability point of view it’s great to donate and reuse, to give clothes a second life. Especially as they are worn a limited amount of times.

I love little stars! From day one coming in Mel Made us feel welcome. I had 2 children under 2 when i first started going in, we have always been welcome in with open arms.
