A Christmas Filled with Kindness: Thank You for Supporting Little Stars

This December, we were truly overwhelmed by the incredible support shown to Little Stars throughout our Santa’s Little Stars Christmas campaign and beyond. From members of the public and community groups to local businesses, schools and corporate partners, the generosity we received captured the very heart of what Christmas is all about.

It has been so heart-warming to see so many individuals, organisations and communities come together with one shared goal: to help bring a little Christmas magic to babies and children across Shropshire.

Festive Impact Summary

Thanks to this support:

Communities and Businesses Bringing Christmas Magic

Across Shropshire, communities and businesses showed incredible creativity and generosity. From Christmas fairs, quizzes, raffles, and bake sales to concerts, workplace fundraising, and online donation drives, every effort helped families during a busy and challenging time of year.

We are especially grateful to the businesses and organisations who helped bring Christmas magic by collecting gifts, fundraising, or encouraging their teams and customers to get involved, including:

Shuker Group, Claremont Tap, The Alb, Bayston Hill Community, The Crafty Dragon, Floro Lounge, St Winefride’s School, Adcote School, DY USA, SUEZ, Barclays, Faintree Škoda, Gobowen WI, Harley Village Hall, Laura Jane, Cadence Singers, Theatre Severn, Jules Convenience Stores, Ackleton Village Hall, Pertemps, APHA, WSP, Samuel Wood, Pipekit, JN Bentley, V&D Interiors, TCA Accountants and Business Advisors, Aaron & Partners LLP, Lanyon Bowdler, Halifax, Start Tech, Komplex Group, Pertemps, Aico, Endorph Fitness, Oxbow Care Home, Severnfields Medical Practice.

Every gift collected and every fundraising effort ensured that hundreds of children across Shropshire received presents and essential items during the festive season.

Corporate Wrapping Days and Drop-Off Partners

December also saw two busy Santa’s Little Stars corporate wrapping days, with around 60 volunteers helping sort and wrap thousands of gifts for our referral partners.

It was a heart-warming, fun and wonderfully busy couple of days. Thanks to the toys so kindly donated, and the hard work of our amazing volunteer elves, thousands of gifts were sorted and wrapped, ready to be collected by our referral partners and given to the children we supported this Christmas.

A huge thank you to the teams from Barclays UK, HSBC, Aico, Komplex Group, Welcome Break, WSP, Start Tech, 4 All Foundation, APHA, and TCA Shrewsbury LLP for giving their time and energy.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to The Darwin for their continued support of our Santa’s Little Stars Christmas campaign. From hosting donation boxes and promoting our cause, to providing a fantastic space for our wrapping days, their partnership plays a vital role in making this campaign possible.

Thank You

We are so thankful to everyone who donated, fundraised, volunteered and supported Little Stars this December and we can’t wait to see how many more Shropshire children we will be able to support in 2026. To get involved for 2026 check out our campaign page
