Celebrating Trustee Week: Meet the Team Behind Little Stars’ Mission 

As we celebrate Trustee Week, we’re excited to introduce you to the incredible group of trustees who work behind the scenes at Little Stars. 

Their dedication, expertise, and passion drive our mission forward, helping us make a real difference to children and families across Shropshire.  

Our trustees bring a wonderful mix of skills and backgrounds, all united by a shared commitment to our cause. From finance and legal support to hands-on help at events, each trustee plays a vital role in keeping Little Stars running smoothly and making an impact.  

Guiding Little Stars to Success  

Our trustees provide invaluable support to ensure we’re always moving in the right direction. Alex, our Chair Trustee, was inspired by a presentation from our CEO, Leanne, and he felt compelled to get involved and use his skills to benefit local families. As he puts it:  

Leanne’s presentation at my workplace opened my eyes to the urgent needs of babies, children, and families in Shropshire. Learning about Little Stars’ incredible work inspired me to become a trustee. Now, I have the privilege of using my skills to ensure that every baby and child in our community has access to the essentials they deserve to feel safe and secure.“  

 
Bringing Skills and Dedication to Little Stars  

Anne, our finance trustee and newest member of the team, keeps us on track financially, helping us make sure every pound is well-spent and that our operations remain sustainable.   

Dee brings her knowledge of websites to the table and supports our marketing coordinator, ensuring our website stays fresh and up to date.  

Christianne brings a balanced opinion and guidance, her knowledge and thought process is extremely valuable for the charity as well as her volunteering time at events for Little Stars.  
  
Sadie, has jumped in with both feet, volunteering her time at our charity shop and lending her creativity to bring events like our Halloween Ball to life. Her hands-on approach and enthusiasm truly embody the Little Stars spirit.
