Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas Magic: Launching our Santa’s Little Stars 2025 Campaign
Every child deserves to feel the magic of Christmas morning.
But for many families across Shropshire, the challenges of everyday life mean that gifts, and the joy they bring, are out of reach this year.
That is why Little Stars is proud to once again launch our Santa’s Little Stars Campaign in partnership with The Darwin Centre, running from 27th October to 30th November 2025.
Our mission is simple: To spread Christmas magic to children who might otherwise go without a gift this year.
Over the past four years, thanks to the kindness of our community, Santa’s Little Stars has helped 1,471 children across the county. With thousands of gifts donated, the campaign has grown year after year. With the continued challenges of the cost-of-living crisis, we know this year’s campaign will be more important than ever.
This year’s tagline, “Every Child Deserves a Little Christmas Magic,” reflects exactly what we hope to achieve: ensuring that every child we support, from birth to age 17, experiences a little magic on Christmas morning. We also extend this care to pregnant women, providing them with a thoughtful gift at Christmas too.
How the Campaign Works
In the lead-up to the festive season, we work with our referral partners to ensure the families whose children may go without a gift are on our list to receive a present on Christmas morning.
Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we were able to give more than one present to each child: creating a little extra magic for Christmas morning. With your help, we hope to do the same again this year.
How You Can Help

Donate a Gift – New, unwrapped toys in their original packaging can be dropped off at collection points throughout The Darwin:

Visit Our Charity Shop – You can also drop off gifts directly at the Little Stars Charity Shop, on the lower level of The Darwin, during our opening hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 10am-2pm.

Get Your Workplace or Organisation Involved – Businesses, schools, and community groups play a vital role. You could:
Organise a toy collection at your workplace
Run a Christmas jumper day or festive fundraiser
Set up a donation point in your office, shop, or organisation
Every pound and every present add up to help us reach more children.
A Community Effort

The campaign is once again supported by The Darwin Centre, who play a key role in hosting drop-off points and encouraging the community to get involved.
