Little Stars Awarded £20,000 Grant from Severn Trent Community Fund
We are absolutely delighted to share that Little Stars has been awarded a £20,000 grant from the Severn Trent Community Fund. This generous support will provide core funding for two key roles: our Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator and our Shop Manager, both of which are essential to the growth and sustainability of our charity.
The Fundraising and Marketing Coordinator role is at the heart of our charity’s growth. By working closely with local businesses, community fundraisers, and our supporters, this role ensures we can reach more people, keep a full calendar of events, and develop sustainable new revenue streams. This work is crucial to securing our future and allowing us to respond to the growing needs of families across Shropshire.
Our Shop Manager is equally vital to our success. The Little Stars Shop has become a central part of how we support our community, offering affordable essentials for families, reducing waste through sustainable shopping, and generating vital income to fund our services. With additional hours funded, our Shop Manager can continue improving the shop experience and helping more families.
We are incredibly grateful to Severn Trent for recognising the importance of these roles and investing in the sustainability of Little Stars.
