Little Stars Awarded £2,187.59 from Baby Bank Alliance Development Fund

Little Stars is delighted to share that we have been awarded £2,187.59 from the Baby Bank Alliance’s 2025 Development Fund.

The Baby Bank Alliance is a national membership organisation bringing together baby banks from across the UK. They provide support, training, and advocacy to help baby banks meet the growing demand in their communities. Through collaboration and shared learning, the Alliance strengthens the work of local charities like ours, ensuring that families everywhere can access the essentials they need for their children.

The 2025 Development Fund was created to help baby banks invest in their future: building capacity, strengthening their services, and supporting sustainable growth. For Little Stars, this funding will be invaluable as we continue to respond to rising need across Shropshire. Every month, more families are reaching out for help with essential items such as school uniform, safe sleep bundles, and equipment to keep children safe at home.

Leanne Simcoe, CEO & Founder of Little Stars, said:

“We are so grateful to the Baby Bank Alliance for this funding. Being part of a national network means we’re not alone in facing the challenges that baby banks see every day. This grant will help us develop our services so we can continue to be there for every family who turns to us for support.”

We are proud to be part of the Baby Bank Alliance community and look forward to using this support to strengthen Little Stars for the future.
