Little Stars Awarded £24,000 Grant from Postcode Local Trust

Little Stars is delighted to announce that we have been awarded a grant of £24,000 from Postcode Local Trust, a grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

This funding will support our core costs, helping us to absorb the growing demand for our services and ensuring we can continue to run all our core projects for children and families across Shropshire.

Every month we are seeing more referrals and requests for help, as families struggle to provide the essentials their children need. From school uniform and safe sleep bundles to vital items like stairgates and educational toys, the need continues to rise. By funding our core running costs, this award gives us the stability we need to keep responding quickly and effectively to those calls for help.

Leanne Simcoe, CEO and Founder of Little Stars, said:

“We are so grateful to Postcode Local Trust and to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for this award. The demand for our services is growing every month, and this grant will make sure we can continue to be here for families when they need us most. It provides vital stability at a time when so many are struggling.”

This funding comes at a crucial time for our charity and will make a lasting difference for hundreds of children across our community.

Thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for making this possible.
