Little Stars Receives Neighbourly Spring Fund Grant to Support Families in Shropshire
We are thrilled to announce that Little Stars has been awarded a £500 grant from the Neighbourly Spring Fund 2024, a joint initiative with Aldi aimed at providing emergency support to families in need.
This timely funding will be directed towards our baby bank and community hub services, enabling us to supply baby clothes, toiletries, and other critical items to families across Shropshire, where 32% of children live in poverty.
The Neighbourly Spring Fund was established to help charities like ours meet the increasing demand for services amidst the ongoing cost-of-living crisis. With many families struggling to afford basic necessities, this grant will significantly enhance our ability to provide immediate relief and support.
Little Stars has seen a surge in requests for assistance, and this grant will allow us to respond more effectively. By providing essential items, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens faced by families, ensuring that children have access to the necessary provisions for a better start in life.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Neighbourly and Aldi for their support. Their commitment to community well-being is making a tangible difference.
