Looking for a New Challenge This Year? Volunteer with Little Stars!
At Little Stars, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. They are the reason we can continue supporting families across Shropshire, and we’re always looking for new people to join our incredible team. Whether you’re looking to meet new people, give back to your community, or gain experience, volunteering can be an incredibly rewarding experience.
The Benefits of Volunteering
Volunteering isn’t just about giving your time; it’s about gaining something in return.
For young people, it’s a chance to build skills, gain experience, and enhance your CV, which can be invaluable when applying for jobs.
For retirees, it’s a great way to stay active, make new friends, and continue making a difference in your community.
For stay-at-home parents, it offers an opportunity to pass the time, connect with others, and contribute to a meaningful cause.
No matter your situation, we have a role that could be perfect for you!

What Our Volunteers and Team members say
Carolyn, one of our regular volunteers based in the stockroom, shared her thoughts:
“I find it incredibly rewarding volunteering for Little Stars. It’s a small local charity, and all the donations are distributed within Shropshire. It’s lovely to know that all the work we do in the charity helps local families and children in their time of need.”
Leanne, our Founder and CEO says:
“Volunteering with Little Stars is so much more than helping out—it’s about being part of a small but friendly team. You’ll laugh, make friends, and know that you’re spending your time helping local families. Whether it’s chatting to customers, supporting our events, or helping behind the scenes, you play a vital role in supporting families in need. We’d love to welcome you to the team.
