St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation Supports Little Stars’ Safe and Secure Project
We’re thrilled to share that St. James’s Place Charitable Foundation has awarded Little Stars a grant of £2,500 to support our Safe and Secure project – helping us provide vital sleeping and safety essentials for children living in vulnerable situations across Shropshire.
This is the second year that the SJP Charitable Foundation has supported Little Stars, and we are so grateful for their continued commitment to our mission. The funding will go directly towards supplying items like mattresses, bedding, cot beds, stairgates, and other essentials that help ensure children have a safe, secure space to sleep and grow at home.
To mark the occasion, Leanne Simcoe (Founder & CEO) and Hannah (Operations Manager) met with some of the team from Throgmorton Associates Wealth Management, a Senior Partner Practice at St. James’s Place, for a cheque handover and photo. It’s always wonderful to meet the people behind the support and share just how much of an impact their generosity will have.
“We’re seeing more referrals than ever before, with many families facing incredibly difficult circumstances,” said Leanne. “This funding allows us to respond quickly and provide the basics that every child deserves – a warm bed, a safe space, and the chance to sleep securely at night.”

This funding will make a huge difference as we continue to meet increasing demand and respond to new referrals.
