Start Tech’s Sweet Support: How Snacking Raised £593 for Little Stars
This year, the team at Start Tech found a creative and delicious way to support Little Stars through their office tuck shop initiative.
Launched in February, the tuck shop started as a small effort to satisfy afternoon cravings and has since turned into a successful fundraising endeavour, raising an impressive £593 in just eight months!
How does it work?
The office purchases a variety of tasty treats, from chocolates to crisps, and team members can help themselves by making a small donation each time they indulge. The team jokingly mentions:
“Some might say we’re greedy, but it’s for a good cause, so we’ll continue snacking for charity!”
The funds collected through this initiative are donated directly to Little Stars, helping us to continue supporting local families in need. This funding will be used to buy essential equipment such as stairgates and mattresses that we do not accept preloved, ensuring that children are safe and comfortable in their homes.
More Than Just a Tuck Shop: Start Tech’s Ongoing Support
